Important Notes
This list of records contains the academic qualifications (AAQ) of the authorized signatories, technical directors and other officers of the registered contractors previously accepted by the Building Authority for contractors' registration under the Buildings Ordinance.
Purpose
The AAQ aims to enhance public access to information for reference by applicants concerning contractors' registration. It should be noted, however, that the list is not meant to be exhaustive.

The Government of the HKSAR disclaims all liabilities for any loss or damage to any person arising from or as a consequence of the use of or reliance on any information contained in or omitted from the AAQ.
In general, the academic qualifications awarded by an institution in a specified year as shown in the AAQ are considered acceptable, and applicants for contractors’ registration will not be required to submit further substantiations. In case of doubt, the Users should seek advice from the Buildings Department.
Users shall agree and accept the statements set out in the "Important Notices" of this website.
Updating of Information
The Administrator reserves the right to change, alter, add, delete, revise and update any information contained in the AAQ at such time and in such manner as it considers appropriate. Notwithstanding anything herein contained, the Administrator is not obliged to and shall not be required to keep all the information contained in the AAQ up-to-date.
