Forming openings at the enclosure wall of staircase/protected lobby
Glass door at the entrance of premises without adequate fire resistance
The opening formed on the wall of staircase enclosure and protected lobby or the fire resistance door replaced by a glass door without adequate fire resistance may:
- affect the protection against the spread of fire and smoke that constitute obvious fire hazard to life or property, i.e. not complying with the building standards laid down for building works in the Building Regulations.
- constitute fire risks endangering the safety of life or property.
