Notes:
- Registered Inspector (RI) can only be appointed to supervise the prescribed repair works or any associated demolition works served with statutory notices under the Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS) and the works covered by class I minor works items in Minor Works Control System.
- Registered Structural Engineer (RSE) is required to be appointed in the case of foundation plans, structural details or calculation for any class I minor works other than those specified in subsection (4) of Section 37 of B(MW)R are involved.
- Registered Geotechnical Engineer (RGE) is required to be appointed in the case of geotechnical plans, geotechnical assessment, geotechnical details or calculations and geotechnical reports are involved.
